The shift to spring represents the rebirth of the soul, emerging from the blustered cold of winter to burst forth into a new life.
Though the warmth I feel from the day's breath is sweet, I cannot help but loose a melancholic sigh at the death of another season — another time left behind in the halls of my past.
Age is not my worry. Nor change. It is the unknown which brings apprehension, but it must be faced or we will destroy ourselves within the shelters we've built to protect us.
The fundamental element of free will lies in the choice of perception.
Once the decision is made, will the future be faced with courage? Will it be met as a warrior of the spirit searching for the truth on the boundaries of our understanding? Or will it succumb to the fear of the unknown? The force which drives victimization, and the loss of sovereignty.
Be the warrior.
