Hi friends,
Well it’s not really books... but more like all of the amazing info out there on-line about practically everything... now for my own part, it has been mostly lokiing at diagrams like this:
(The five positions, or boxes, of the Pentatonic minor scale)
This “stacked” diagram helps to see the pattern across the entire fretboard, and thus enables a player access to many of the notes that will sound good over a given chord progression. I’ve also been learning new “licks and tricks” from watching better players explain what they’re doing. And i must admit it is a little intimidating. However, some dedicated practice time can make even difficult techniques possible.
So i’m down the rabbit hole... Suffering the stackitus and singing the blues for me. I’ll be checking my PObox for some deals i’ve made recently 😳😜🤩 and trying to get my mitts on some more grubby and discretionary fiat dollars.
Keep on rocking friends, and keep on stacking!
Cheers! from @thedamus
