I'm often asked "what would kill Bitccoin?"
and i steal my answer from somewhere that i heard it ( i don't remember where) but 1 of 2 things needs to happen for Bitcoin to die.
That said….i think a possible significant death threat could come from government supporting another chain.
If all the govt’s around the world decided to back something like etherium…. It would cause a flippening real quick…. And it would attract a lot of ppl into etherium….. but government going to government… and etherium would just become federal reserve 2.0, and the need for bitcoin would bring it right back to #1.
Essentially BTC is the superior monetary product because it doesnt have the corrupt touch of government…. So it’s going to be impossible for government to ever offer a non-government monetary product to compete.
in Summary, i think BTC will have many attempts on it's life, but BTC will overcome and it is now inevitable
