I remember it was a cool day for that late in the Spring. If you notice, we had 'mud gear' on and even sweatshirts to fight the bite back of the wind skating across the lake. This was because we only had some April showers, but, a shit ton of May rain.

@b34w0lf was the first to catch anything. He was happy because there was so much feed in the water, I'm surprised they caught anything. I say they, because @lunamoon joined us on this trip.

She was actually pretty sad and getting frustrated because it was about two hours before she finally caught something. It was a nice fight for her at just over two pounds. I think I enjoy watching them reel fish in just as much as I like fishing myself. It's like, hey, I did that thing so they know a thing.

I didn't catch any fish this day, I was on a different mission. It was requested I bring a little baby turtle home. It was about an hour after she caught her fish that I finally found one small enough to be considered a baby.

It looked happy for the short few days it spent with us. I'm not sure of the sex, but it was pretty either way. Maybe I should adopt a new nick name like 'Reptile' or something. I sure do seem to be in touch with my reptilian brain and am able to seduce them easily. Go catch something now and REMEMBER, there's always a bigger fish.
