Whatās up Steemit, today in this series of stacking stupidity Iām going to talk about MS/PF 69 slabbed coins.
Slabbed coins I think when theyāre purchased few and far between for strategic purposes can be a good thing. Things like Morgan dollars and rare coins can be a great preservation of wealth but as far as stacking goes Iām not so sure they are a good move.
So when it comes to bullion coins an occasional perfect
MS/PF 70 can be good but today we weāre talking about 69ās. A 69, IMO is one of the biggest wastes of money out there when stacking silver. Especially when The Bullion coin has a huge mintage such as these in the pics
The premium thatās paid on these pices is most of the time pretty large and thereās a buttload struck in that grade.
Itās like being in a race or something and coming in at second place. Your prize is a pat on the back while everyone is passing you to the first place guy to give gifts, Champagne showers and hot women are all over him. Truly 69 slabbed coins are pretty much a disappointment and have no place in my stacking goals.
When stacking long term it is wise to stay away from stuff like this, especially when much more can be acquired for the same price tag.
