This is my entry for this weeks ART EXPLOSION... the theme is TIME.
About the picture:
The person in the picture looks out of the window, probably waiting for something/someone and while he is waiting time leaves traces all over his face until nothing is left. Our physical bodies vanish over time. The only thing that will stay is how people remember us.
About the process:
I came up with a workflow to distroy pictures in different programs. In this case i used photoshop and stamped with different textures across the face (before I made a mask so the background stays untouched). the way how i do it is very often spontanious and I am not always sure what i am doing. This picture was the 4th in a series that i kept.
