I have interviewed people and made some hiring decisions in my life, but I honestly never considered race as a determining factor in who I thought was most qualified for the position. Some people were flaky, some were inexperienced, some (many) were over qualified. I know it exists for some companies who want to hire a diversified staff, but I think it really should come down to the individual
