Hi Steemians
Now that I bought a half decent camera, I thought I should probably learn how to use it! So what better way, than just getting out there and shooting. I decided to go on my first photography walk, so had a quick check on meet up and saw a group going to baslow edge in the peak district.
The walk was awesome and we met some fantastic people, who were all very keen to help share their knowledge, but more importantly we came face to face with these fantastic beasts!!

Highland cows are a Scottish breed of cattle first first talked about in the 6th century!! They are pretty hardy breed, due to withstand all those tough Scottish conditions.

I love their have long horns and long wavy coats, these cows are badass!
Overall it was a great summers evening walk amongst the heather and highland cattle on curbar and baslow edge, and will certainly be going on more photography walks in the future!
