It seems that Bitcoin and crypto in general are less in the news now with 'AI' being the Hot New Thing.

All things AI certainly is the mainstream interest right now. I've been reading a lot about AI and tokens working together in the future for online payment systems.

I think some people got burned and there are so many scams, including from a certain orange person.

I think so too. That last rally was really strange and the alt markets really didn't rally like they should have. I think a lot of altcoin traders got fed up with that last rally. We never really got an alt season.

As far as the orange man is concerned. I think the timing of some of his comments are more than suspicious. Like this morning, hinting at a US bitcoin reserve while the price is rallying. Not to mention oil price movements every time he says the Straight of Hormuz is open or closed. The whole debacle is shameful. I've never wanted to see a president leave office more than this guy. The whole government is currently out of whack. Worst part is, I'm not very optimistic about anyone that may be replacing him either. We're in a world of hurt over here!

I don't pay that much attention to the markets as I'm just in Hive and still find value in it. Obviously the price is rubbish, but I don't see much panic really.

Price is rubbish, but we'll be OK. I finally bought some in the 4 cent range today. Wish I would have caught 3 cents but I wasn't paying attention. I need to pay better attention not only to Hive, but what is happening in the altcoin markets as well. I've lost touch with several projects. Hive will be fine. We have community and a working product. Like all crypto, price goes up, price goes down, price goes up again, followed by another leg down.

I still hope to see people get fed up with corporate social media and look for alternatives. We need to welcome them.

We need decentralized peer to peer apps for social media. Like Napster but for posting images and content creation. Every member becomes a node of the network. This is how we obfuscate censorship and corporate fascism. No owners, the users are the owners! Much like Hive but with a peer to peer interface.
