Yes, I'm sure the lands coming and other features will keep the price higher than normal, and perhaps longer than expected, but that no knowing when it will crash has me, as a semi-conservative crypto investor remaining cautious. I don't think Splinter lands will have a Cryptopblades moment where all of the sudden after an unforeseen surge of grow, the in-game currency tanks and the game is no longer profitable(thankfully since it is on the HIVE blockchain and "gas fees" aren't a thing to cut into profits) since it's designed differently,so I have more faith in the dev team.
