It’s time to face the facts; voters don't control the government and never will. Politicians answer to the ones who put them in power, their donors. The American people do not have what it takes to retake that control, and one could argue whether they ever really had any control at any time in its history. American people today, for the most part, are cowardly sheep. There are some exceptions, but not near enough to make a difference. The political system is dead as far as making systemic changes through that system. It’s time to look to alternative means.
