I think I have come to realize that I don't know what type of financial future I want.

I have always been a frugal saver. Even when I receive gifts I try to budget them smartly, putting most of it into savings, and then dividing it further into specific item savings, and then spending maybe 8% of it. The benefits to this are that I can have something to fall back on. This also allows me to invest in things I believe in (Steem). However, I don't know if it's the financial situation I want.

Not because I doubt I want it. It's just I don't know what I want. I have always assumed that saving money now will pay out in the future. But what if spending money to enjoy life is just as, if not more, important? At what point does saving money become unnecessary worrying? Perhaps there is no number. Perhaps it changes monthly. Perhaps I should meditate on it.

With each birthday I feel older and wiser, and each birthday I realize how much I don't know.
