Business is not one thing you just woke up and jump into. Even though you just woke up and have the mindset that you want to venture into any business, you have to at least make sure that you have idea of what you want to embark on.
There is this tribe in my country that I love their doings so far. This is why almost of them are so rich compared to other tribe. This is the logic they always apply. They make sure that when they are at a tender age, their parent will give them out to any rich business man from same tribe. They will seat down and negotiate on the amount the child will be payed after the child must have finish the duration of work he signed with the boss.
Assuming the clause says fifteen (5) years, the boy will stay with him for that fifteen (15). When the duration elapse, the business owner will now give the boy pay off. The good thing about this whole stuff is that the boy is still at age 10-15 years when he embark on such lifestyle. Before he will grow to 20-25 where he will be chasing women, he will already have his business in place and running. Base on what he was thought at a younger age, his mindset will surely be to manage his business properly and also growing big financially.
I met with 4 people from that tribe and they gave me their own story so far. Mr Ifeanyi said that he had different stores so he is always looking for people to work with him. He believe on the principle on which he was taught so he makes sure that when he needed boys, he will travel to his village and pick boys between the age of 10-15 to work with him. He said while he was little, he was around the age of 10 back then when he started working under someone. Immediately he finished serving him, he was given pay of and this enabled him to be able to open his business successfully at 25 years of age. He said because he travelled out of his locality to serve his boss, he was very concentrative, no time to chase women. This is how he business grows massively. He followed this principle by making sure that when he was looking for people to work with him, they should be people of such age that will be ready to learn.
The second encounter was with Mr Chinedu. He said that his business has grown so big, he has to seek for my hands, this is what give birth to the idea of employing more workers of young age than those that are already matured. He said he was at a time employing adult but they end up eating all his money and using it to run their own business without completing their clause. Since he is a Christian, he decided to always let go. When he sees that the already matured people are already betraying his trust, he fall back to employing people who it will take longer years before they can develop such bad habit. Ever since he started employing them, his business keeps skyrocketing.
From the above we can see that learning a trade at a younger age is good. You will fully concentrated on the business and this will enable you to have a very big business mentality when you grow up. You won't in any way deviate from what you have learnt so far.
Another good thing is that when you are young and learning a trade, nobody will look at your angle to ask you for money and also you won't be tempted to run after woman. You will just look at it as being too small for such life. This will enable much concentration. Although some people at young age still embark on such act but it is at a rare case.
