Feliz año nuevo comunidad, en esta mi primer publicación del año quiero compartir con ustedes uno de mis últimos trabajos del año 2021, fue a mediados del mes pasado que me encargaron unos borregos de la abundancia.
Happy new year community, in this my first publication of the year I want to share with you one of my last works of the year 2021, it was in the middle of last month that I was commissioned by some sheep of abundance.
Dice la tradición que para desear buena suerte y abundancia en el año nuevo, debes regalar uno de estos, el destinatario debe colocar a su borrego en la puerta de entrada de su casa para que por allí pase y se quede la buena fortuna.
Tradition says that to wish good luck and abundance in the New Year, you must give one of these as a gift, the recipient must place his sheep at the front door of his house so that good fortune can pass there and stay.
Los vemos de muchos materiales y en muchas técnicas, como saben yo empleo la técnica de crochet y en estambre de algodón al 50%.
We see them in many materials and in many techniques, as you know I use the crochet technique and in 50% cotton yarn.
El patrón a seguir es muy sencillo, son dos esferas trabajadas en espiral, una de ellas (la cara) en color carne y la otra en color blanco, los rizos del borrego, son dos cadenas hechas en un mismo punto bajo, con un punto deslizado, eso dará efecto de rizo, es por esto que se debe de trabajar solo por una de las hebras en cada punto bajo, dejando una hebra libre para ahí hacer el rizo.
The pattern to follow is very simple, they are two spheres worked in a spiral, one of them (the face) in flesh color and the other in white, the sheep's curls, they are two chains made in the same single crochet, with a point slid, that will give a curl effect, that is why you should only work through one of the strands in each single crochet, leaving a free strand to do the curl there.
