Over here they don't even try to learn Portuguese... They just learn english and expect us to speak it, or worse, my brother had to do a whole doctor's appointment to an immigrant from Pakistan through a translation app... He had been here for two whole years! And didn't speak 1 single Portuguese word.

I know our language is hard, but camon, at least try, I'm ok with broken Portuguese, but no Portuguese at all? That's just insulting to the people that are sheltering you, and that have been paying taxes for years and years to sustain the healthcare system that is now helping you. 🤷‍♂️

I don't require perfection, but at least try...
