Finger gestures are often used when someone is about to be photographed. I often encounter this phenomenon. Each finger gesture has certain meanings. For example, the index and middle finger gesture or the V gesture. Well, these finger gestures also have different meanings in each country.
Generally, the finger gesture that shows the "number 2" means peace or friendship. This refers to the end of a war that occurred in the 1940s. The gesture can also mean victory. The finger gesture was popularized by a Belgian politician while in exile in 1941.
However, the index and middle finger gesture can have a different meaning if the palm is facing towards the signer. In some countries, the gesture can mean an insult.
Meanwhile, the index finger and little finger gesture means rock on. In Indonesia, the gesture indicates metal style. Usually during rock concerts, the audience often uses these gestures.
