Hello, black and white photography enthusiasts!

Have you ever seen a cracker eating contest in your country? In Indonesia, cracker eating contests have become a common sight during Indonesian Independence Day celebrations. This contest is highly entertaining for the spectators because they get to witness how challenging it is for the participants to consume crackers tied with a string.

That's right! These very light crackers are tied in such a way that participants are not allowed to use their hands to eat them. Participants have to make an effort to finish the crackers. Of course, the crackers wobble irregularly, which can be quite frustrating for the contestants.

The winner of this contest is determined by the crackers they have eaten completely. The participant who finishes the cracker the fastest is declared the winner.

The following photos depict the excitement of the cracker eating contest participated in by my students on the school field. I am sharing these photos for the daily challenge hosted by monomad@monomad and curated by monochromes@monochromes. I hope you enjoy them.
