El proyecto consistía en una exposición sobre un animal marino, en este caso el tiburón; la exposición debía ir acompañada con algunos elementos alusivos al animal, como un afiche, artículos decorativos, y pequeños obsequios hechos con material reciclado.
Así que este es un tutorial sobre cómo elaborar lapiceros con motivo de tiburón con materiales básicos, les aseguro que el resultado es no solo bonito sino funcional ✨ 🦈 👌

A few weeks ago a neighbor asked me for help for her 7 year old son's end of course project 📝 🎓
The project consisted of an exhibition about a marine animal, in this case the shark; the exhibition was to be accompanied with some elements allusive to the animal, such as a poster, decorative items, and small gifts made with recycled material.
So this is a tutorial on how to make pencils with a shark motif with basic materials, I assure you that the result is not only pretty but functional ✨ 🦈 👌
✦ El primer paso es conseguir 5 rollos iguales de cartón, los del papel toilet estarán bien.
✦ Si no tenemos de este tipo, los de toallín desechable de cocina funcionan bien, solo debemos cortarlos para obtener tubos del mismo tamaño.
✦ Después, cortaremos 5 cuadrados de cartón (medidas 10 x 10 cm) de cualquier caja que podamos reciclar en casa.
✦ The first step is to get 5 equal cardboard rolls, toilet paper rolls will be fine.

✦ Para las aletas de cada "tiburón", usaremos los triángulos de cartón restantes de cuando recortamos las bocas. Solo debemos redondear uno de sus extremos y aplanarlos un poco.
✦ Con ayuda de un exacto o cuchillo fino, haremos un corte en cada rollo, un poco mas hacia el frente de las bocas, y no exactamente en su centro, solo del largo necesario para introducir las aletas en cada pieza.
✦ Agregaremos un poco de pegamento, y dejaremos secar en una posición recta, para que las aletas no queden torcidas.
✦ Cuando las aletas estén secas y ya no se muevan, las pintaremos también.

✦ Para la base de cada lapicero, forraremos los cuadrados de cartulina que recortamos y reservamos previamente, con foami color gris.
✦ La cartulina es buena opción, pero el foami siento que es mejor en estos casos porque da un aspecto mas voluminoso y texturizado en contraste a los cuerpos de los tiburones.

✦ The design of the eyes is a personal choice, I chose a small, funny style with glitter.
✦ For the base of each pencil, we will line the cardboard squares that we previously cut out and set aside, with gray foami.
✦ Cardboard is a good option, but I feel that foami is better in these cases because it gives a more voluminous and textured look in contrast to the sharks' bodies.
