This time I had to take a break from development for a couple of weeks but after Terrive saw a nudge I managed to make some updates last week and cleaned up the code 馃槂.
One of the most important things Terrive needed was an easier way to upload stuff. But with this release you can finally upload images and videos directly to IPFS. The files are automatically pinned using Infura but feel free ( recommended too ) to make a second pin.
Keep in mind that uploading is experimental, so expect a few bugs. If you find any bugs 馃悰 please leave a message in the chat room or as a comment below. 馃檪
Notifications : The notification panel has been updated and much better now. Just a little more commits and the notifications should be cool.
Readability : The font has been changed for the body of posts because it was hard to read long paragraphs with the previous font. Titles and usernames are unchanged.
To look good everywhere : Remember those horrible titles for Terrive Posts that showed up on HIVE. Now things are much better than before 馃槃. The first two words of your description is the your new title and the watermark just below the image is gone too !! If you want to see the post on Terrive all you have to do is to click on the image.

The first thing that went through your mind would be discord. But personally I'm not a huge fan of discord , i mean ,Discord is really cool but why use a closed, centralized app when there are much better decentralized alternatives.
So Terrive's official Chat room is on matrix. It's a decentralized, end to end encrypted communication platform. Signup is really straight forward all you need is a username, password and confirm your password. Email is optional and can be added after signup. There are multiple clients ( like peakd, hiveblog, and ecency for hive ) but the best one would be element.io , here Is a full list of clients.
