Hello, community! This is the very first post from Nimefriends.
The story behind this new Hive frontend is a bit amusing: "Friends" was a chat app a friend and I were working on to serve as our own personal messaging platform. One day, 
nime.io domain. I am very grateful to him for many things; thank you for the support!
How We Evolved
For various reasons, the app wasn't quite enough on its own, given that it was just a chat tool. So, the project evolved and expanded. We also encountered some bugs and a bottleneck in the chat function, but we are happy to report that these issues have since been resolved.
Current Features
Nime currently features:
- Dark Mode: For a comfortable browsing experience.
- Language Toggle: English and Spanish support (though the design isn't quite polished yet).
- Rewarding Chat: The core chat itself, which aims to reward socializing with friends on the Hive blockchain.
We took a brief break, but we are getting back to work to finalize the app so everyone can try it out soon.
The immediate next step involves improving the registration process. Right now, it is manual and cumbersome due to the complex steps involved. We need to integrate HiveSigner to ensure the community feels much more confident and secure when logging in.

We had originally intended to save marketing for last, but we realized that the community is everything: without it, Nime would just be a ghost town.
