Today is December 1st and it marks my second Hive Power Up Day.

For me the power up day is mostly symbolic. My activities and goals on HIVE are not to power up as much as possible and become a whale or even just a redfish.

My goal is to participate in Actifit and HiveLearners community while growing the #earnspendgive community and finding a way to make real world purchases possible using the Hive ecosystem and the GLD token I created.

Adding to my Hive Power barely comes up on my radar as something I should do..

..... and for a long time I didn't bother.

BUT

I think its important to stand with other Hive members and acknowledge that everyone, regardless of their end goal on Hive, should stand together with the other users and publicly show support for the blockchain by powering up.

Some a lot, some a little, but for everyone just a day to stand up and be seen as a supporter of the chain.

My end goals won't change and most of my time is spent on other endeavors on the blockchain. But for this day (and hopefully every 1st of the month) I want to stand with all the other members and show my support for HIVE.
