Starting a road trip. My Actifit Report Card: August 15 2026
Today I'm starting out on a trip... Away from the city to rural British Columbia.
Unfortunately there are some very large forest fires which are making things very smoky and cutting off major highways.
So I'm taking a longer than usual route. As such a long trip has turned into a very long trip. Usually it is about 1300km, now it will be 1400. At my age that is just too long for one day.
So we visited friends and will stay overnight.
It also means Nicko got to visit his brother.
And we got to do a nature hike with friends
And got to see a nice sunset both on the trail
Fairly pretty through the trees although my wife asked why I stopped walking.
Then it was really big and red when we got back to the house.
And that was much of my day for 12k steps
