Well, today I didn't get that many steps. I did walk the dog in the morning but he was kind of lethargic and he had diarrhea so I figured I wasn't going to push him too much.

I just let him play in the backyard while my wife and I did a little work. Mostly my wife because she kept telling me "no not that one" or "ohh... I'm saving that". So, I just kind of stayed nearby and did what she asked me to.

As for the things in the garden?

Right now only the beans are ready for harvesting. Well, I suppose also the garlic that you saw in the first picture. I didn't realize that the top of the garlic is also edible, I thought it was just the bottom bulb. Live and learn I suppose.

There is a picture of the beans that we are working on eating :)

As for the grapes? There certainly are a lot of them but whether or not they will have enough time to mature and get ripe before fall? No idea. A lot of years we get a lot of grapes that are really sour because of lack of time.

Tomatoes are still green but they will get ripe eventually. Still nice to know they are coming.

The corn? Not sure I like that my father in law planted it. Partially because you get so little corn from the small number planted. Mostly though they get tall and they are shading the blueberry bush and the apple tree. I would kind of rather have apples and blueberries than corn.

But I've learned not to get in my father in law's way. I see him bicker with my wife about what should be in the garden to know I don't want to get between them.

And it was only a 6k day today because I just didn't walk that much. Then again? I walked enough to post so here is my post for the day.
