Another day with homestay students. My Actifit Report Card: June 26 2026
Rainy and not very nice.. That was today. I took the picture above because while I was walking the dog there was just something about a basketball waiting on the court with no one nearby. Plus with poor weather there was unlikely to be anyone coming.
Of course I still had to walk the dog because he needs to get out of the house both morning and evening. Rain, shine, or even snow.
After the morning walk? A few errands.
The car needed to go into the shop for routine maintenance.
Walked through the mall and marveled at how empty it has become. Twenty years ago every shop was filled, now it is less than half full. More vacant spots than full ones.
More memories than anything else there.
Still it was on my way to get milk and a couple other items so I snapped a picture.
Other than that. Picked up the homestay kids who I will have for the weekend. Went to a nieces birthday party with the students ( they were bored witless so we had to leave early).
And overall it was a very quiet day. Still got me 11k steps though. So not all bad :)
