Fun with extruded aluminium. My Actifit Report Card: June 15 2026
Today I started the day with walking the dog. After I brought him home then I had to walk to the bank. Not super happy about that because everything I do is online. However my mother in law has he buy things for her and she insists on paying cash. Which means I have to go to the bank to deposit it.
I can do it but it is just one more errands in my day. Good for getting steps not as awesome time wise. Sure I could just drive but.. well.. I need exercise.
After that?
Work.
Not a long shift but long enough to make me glad to go home.
Once I got home? Well my wife was home and doing painting. That meant either I do something useful or I get roped into painting.
End result.
I cleaned up the computer area in the house.
I won't say I finished the job but I did start :)
After that some extruded aluminium arrived. Now I heard about it from chatgpt and it seems like a good but kind of expensive way to build things.
I thought I would start small with just a few pieces from Amazon and it was both easier and harder than I thought.
It went together easier than I thought but actually getting things assembled properly took a little longer than I thought because I misaligned things.
On the end? It is mostly just a useless cube for right now but a few more pieces and I'll see what I can make.
