Ok. This picture is from yesterday when I didn't post. It was just a super long travel day.

We left at 8am UK time which is about 12 at night in Canada. Easy to catch a bus and quite comfy also. Bus leaves every 12 minutes and only takes 30 min to the airport.

Easy.

Getting through the terminal was chaotic with very long lines to get through security screening. You can pay for fast track but I hate spending on things if I don't have to.

But that coca cola in the picture?

$7.15 CAD out about $4.50 HBD and my wife's coffee was even more. Ugh.

As for getting into the plane? Super busy with long line ups and stairs to get into the plane.

Then it was 8 hours to Calgary and a quick switch of plans and another 90 minutes to home. When I arrive my body clock says 11pm but the local time says 3pm.

But I have a sore back, blistered feet and a long time until I can sleep.

So I unpack my clothes. I go by the pharmacy. And try to stay up at 9pm but that's like 5am body clock.

Ugh..

... But I got to sleep at 8pm (4am body clock) and slept for almost 8 hours.

How did I get my steps?

Absolutely no idea. I didn't sightsee, I don't work, but I guess walking around the airport and rushing between gates so I guess it was enough.

Why am I saying it's a build the baseline in the title? Mostly because I weighed myself after the trip to get my weight and I can see how I can lose some pounds.

Also my fingers get in pretty rough shape in the pharmacy where I work tomorrow. However with the 3 weeks off they are in virtually perfect shape.

So .. took a picture to show before I work and later I will do after.

If my fingers get sorry looking and painful I am certain.

But I'm falling asleep in the chair and my phone is near death. I'll leave it at that for today.
