Another beautiful day.
My neighbor actually had some pretty flowers in his yard so I had to stop and take a picture when I went out to walk the dog in the morning.
Of course the flowers are way better looking than I am so here is a different view of the same thing.
Other than that is was cool but not cold. There is a lot of water in the soil and with spring sunshine without the summer heat that means everything is very vibrant, or should I say verdant, lots of different shades of green today.
A perfect day to walk the dog.
As for the rest of the walk I was thinking about my advice to find different angles and interesting shots when out for a walk. I won't guarantee that I am any expert but I did find two shots that I really thought were nice,
For some reason I just loved the white flowers, the green foliage and the blue sky all coming together in this image. I will admit that there was a bright gleam of sunlight that my photo just didn't catch. Oh well, it is just a cellphone and not a professional camera so I get what I get.
A little while later I got this image.
There was something about the winding stairs, the structure in the background and walkway giving a grey center with green around it and a little contrast from a red maple I think it is. Overall, I quite enjoyed the image so of course I took a picture.
As for the dog?
He could care less what things look like. I'm very visual and scent in the morning. It just smells fresh ... But the dog?
100% smell. He stops to sniff everything
So frustrating. I just want to walk quickly and get some cardio in. Get my step count up and get on with my day.
The dog..

.... Stop and sniff that.
... Keep on sniffin'
It seems like every 90 seconds there is something else to smell .
Yes, I know that means I'm a bad doggy daddy as he isn't trained to stay right by my side.
In my defense it isn't even my dog. I never wanted the dog. I just refuse to let him be neglected in the house so I walk with him twice a day every day.

Anyways, walking him today gave me 6K steps I think. Not bad for a day when I mostly just stayed at home behind my computer and worked on the GLD community stuff.
Someday I'll get it to a working alpha version but for now? Still plugging away at the pieces underneath.
