A few flowers of spring. My Actifit Report Card: April 17 2026
Another day and another post.
Today I was actually on the computer much of the day trying to get the weekly payment distributor program working for the Great Little Dragons.
It ended up being buggy but at the end of the day it was good enough to make sure that everyone got their weekly distribution.
I still did manage to go for a couple of walks. Mostly when I got frustrated from little bugs making my life miserable I went for a walk.
Rather than take pictures of my haggard face I figured I would take pictures of the pretty flowers. They are way nicer to look at than me anyways.
However if vibe coding and getting bad results was bad... My son had it worse. As I was taking the dog for his afternoon walk my son came home from getting his motorcycle repaired. He took a friend out to Vancouver with him so they could both ride back. Problem was that the motorcycle died halfway back. After a quick battery boost the bike started again. But died yet again once in town. The second time the motorcycle was dead for good.
My son paid $1100 for a bicycle that didn't even make it through one trip home. That was bad..
Made me feel less awful about an app that was a little buggy but functional with a little tweaking.
After all the steps taking my dog on the walk? After the programming? It was time to sit down and watch a bit of TV with my wife. We found a Spanish TV show "Billionaire Bunker" in English. She's enjoying it but possibly only because it has a really handsome male lead hahahaha.
While watching I realized I didn't get around to writing my Hive Learners post which I found very annoying because it was finally a super easy prompt but as I was working the next day and laundry took priority...No Hive Learners post :(
But that was my day and overall, glad I got my step count and glad I wasn't the person fixing my son's bike haha.
