Bitcoin ETFs on the Horizon

• SEC rejected 2 bitcoin ETFs listing
• Winklevoss’ ETF listing on Bats in March, SolidX’ s ETF on NYSE Arca in May
• Dalia Blass from the law firm that represented the Winklevoss twins’ ETF, has been named director of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management.
• In July, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission unanimously approved LedgerX’s cryptocurrency-trading platform for clearing derivatives
• CBOE plans to offer cash-settled bitcoin futures in the fourth quarter of this year or early 2018
