Found these amazing mushrooms growing on moss trees! They are orange coloured with a veil. Not sure what species. I thought haha maybe these are Big Laughing Gym a potent hallucinogen! I didn't take any to test. Didn't try them either haha. Though I think there are some of those on the coast where I was. Heard a story of someone getting poisoned by a mushroom on Vancouver Island thinking it was a Big Laughing Gym. This hike is in Chilliwack
They are really nice to look at and some of my favourite ones on the hike!! There are others more on the bottom of the tree that look different. More a brownish colour than orange
Not sure what kind of mushroom the brownish looking ones are either. They were pretty big. Bigger than the orange looking ones. The veil looks different and farther down the stalk on the brown ones. There were a few more types found on the hike I will post later
Made a couple video clips of the orangish mushrooms on the moss tree and the brown ones at the bottom. Maybe they are the same mushroom? I sure like how they grow all around the tree from the floor to higher up the trunk.
