I remember I joined Hive on the last day of November last year. That is 4 months and counting. Honestly, Hive should be a course to be studied on its own*. Being on Hive has been a series of learning, unlearning and re-learning, as I say always. At least I know that I was not the same person that came on hive about a couple of months ago. With the help of the amiable citizens on the chain, I was able to learn at their feet and still reward me for doing so. Ain't that great?馃榿 And I would not forget the ardent tasks and support of the communities in making sure newbies are not left unguided - never left unfresh..

Now, we've got to the next task on the timeline...

For this task we would require the newbies to answer the following questions using the markdowns they have learnt from the video above.

How has been your experience with Hive since you joined?
What are your thoughts on Plagiarising and vote begging?
What are your thoughts on post recycling?
How helpful has this post been to you in understanding Markdowns?

Very well, at first, I was not the usual active type here, especially in the aspect of content posting, I only was on engaging other authors. I think this was part of what gives me inspiration and motivation to write. And till now, I do more engagement than posting such that my RC got exhausted recently 馃槄.
What are your thoughts on Plagiarising and Vote begging?

Plagiarising is defined as...

Basically, it is referred to as using someone else's work without due permission to do so. Relative to Hive, it is seen as not either sourcing the work used or not even sourcing it well. Plagiarism is one thing that is verily frowned at here. You should see the hivewatchers eye when such a content is found -
Red with fury !

Actually, the work referred to earlier is not just limited to images but also quotes whose authors are known, definitions from sites, graphic arts, etc. even as little as a divider created by another person.

Vote begging..?

If we were to consider the two constituent words separately and then, later on, join the meaning together, most people would go for the definition relative to elections where people are paid so that they could vote for them. But it is not related entirely to hive because you may not be giving people money to vote you in monetary terms - I think that's gibberish. It entails one engaging people sentimentally to shake some money off to your post whereby it should have been a testament of your activities such as engagement, contents, etc.

What are your thoughts on post recycling?

Post Recycling

Literarily, means the way by which a user posts content that had been previously done. It is more or less like just repeating the same whole thing again. I think some who may have done this did it because of some factors which include the so-called writer's block, the inability to come up creatively with new posts or even misunderstanding soem requirements for some other things etc. Although, I believe everyone is creative, you'd only have different paths to and from creativity. We are all unique and differnt in our ways.

How helpful has this post been to you in understanding Markdowns?

At first, most of the markdowns are really looking foreign and quite technical for me but as I went on in the video it became clear and more understandable. It gave me a nostalgic effect as to when I was learning HTML and its syntax so I guess it was this that made me to quickly grasp the new concepts. As from now, more well-structured content will flow from my Hive belly 馃榿.

I must confess, the administration of the combo of newbies-hive@newbies-hive and hive-learners@hive-learners is really doing a great job for everyone not just the newbies cos for example, there are some who have been on the system before us and they still do not know the proper usage of markdowms. But now, the solution came and is even well-explained by starstrings01@starstrings01.

Kudos to you all!
