Spoken with eloquence and conviction!
I agree with you entirely and see you get it but acidyo finds my words scary. Anyway hope he is safe under his bed.
To your point on that equilibrium of the money game and the people here, I really think it's achievable. That's why I'm so vocal about what I see missing because it's not that the formula of mainstream platforms is a guarded secret.
This graph here shows that the majority of users don't even proceed beyond sign-up on Hive.
Total amount of accounts (over a million) vs how many are interacting with the chain (under 4 thousand) shows clearly that retention is the ultimate flaw.
WHY?
Well you already know.
To fix it will be slow, but.
Like I said it's not difficult.
Connectivity = User retention.
User retention = Audience.
Audience = Ideas/projects/businesses.
= Investors take notice.
= Token value upward movement.
= Fomo (which happened once before on steemit.) Token went to $8 and creators took notice. It didn't sustain because it was all speculative back then and the missing elements sank the ship.
Now it's real community value (in life rafts, somewhat scattered) so those missing vitals are even more needed now. Too many drowned. Too many!!
