You've gone back to salesman.
I get what you're saying and as I said earlier this is ONLY interesting to people who ARE interested in how this all works under the hood.
Outside of that mindset it's meaningless though. Actually it's even worse than that.. it's a major deterrent. That's why I've made the claim here (which upset many) that the community on-boarding initiative here has morphed into an MLM formula/approach.
On-boarding initiatives here are about Referrals, Friends and Family, Put in Work, Utilise your existing socials, DON'T STOP even if it doesn't pay right away... PURE MLM FORMULA.
Until the system CAN cater to the most mindless users.. which is that facebook type, then this just isn't ever going to attract masses. Even the audience on Twitter has no great interest. That's why my view is that this is not even ready for mass.
I'm watching the video from this post right now
and at 59:34 that very point is made.
The whole video/talk is very interesting.
Those speakers are also well established on this platform.
They not only know what they are talking about they are also actively involved.
This blockchain makes the claim "we are the greatest" but even those in that video are honest about the fact that there's likely only 100 thousand people involved in blockchain globally.. and that there really isn't true decentralised here. The code is, to an extent but everything else runs on centralised data storage networks.
So the GRAND THING: DECENTRALISED + REWARDS have run their course.
If that was the GREATEST NEW THING OF INTERNET then steemit would have grown and grown and grown.. even though it runs on amazon servers and Ned owned the rights.. which he then sold to JustSunshine.
So to think the time to onboard is NOW.. is just wrong. The BUILDING is still far from finished. So I just wouldn't be doing the salesman approach like you are doing... YOU BELIEVE THAT (along with many others here) but only because you've committed to this. Everyone else just wants simplicity and user experience that works. That's not Hive.
