Today was one hell of a stressful day. Imagine standing in a queue for hours and at the end of the day you're being sent home with a "come back tomorrow".
My faculty is really stressing my ass out. Other faculties in the university have all done all the possible things that needed to be done with the students so lectures commence immediately but my faculty the 'Faculty of Art's' is something else.
We had been given lazy administrative staffs as workers. Those set of people are super annoying. For the past three days now they have been unable to screen up to fifty students. They have just been stressing us the way it pleases them.
That aside, a motivational speaker actually came up to enlighten our brains a Little. He didn't really have much time but he said a lot of touching words which could make one turn a new leaf.
I don't know how other students got the message but I know the message meant a lot to me. He gave us messages that would help us throughout our journey in life and the university as a whole.
We all know the university is a place which easily transforms one from either good to bad. It's all a matter of choice though. Some are actually out of peer pressure but then it all falls back to choice.
I got my topic from what my motivational speaker said to us today in school. He asked us what we do with our minds! I pondered on those words when he walked out of the hall.
I found myself asking my inner man that question. I had to search my heart to know what I have been doing with my mind so far.
I figured that my success through out school would be attainable if I used my mind correctly, I also learnt that the mind is a beautiful garden where all kinds of beautiful flowers grow but it's in my hands to water them or let them wither.
I also learnt that persistence comes from the determination of ones mindset which breaks resistance.
Failure is predictable but success is attainable.
Now it's your turn to answer the question;
What do you do with your mind?
