I'm a total homebody and the fact that I work from home makes it even more impossible for me to go out. Well, I can... but I usually choose not to. However, there are times when I go grocery shopping with my father.

The past week, I have been busy at work and I wasn't really feeling that well mentally, so I decided to go out for a bit and get myself some stuff... mostly sweets to improve my mood. hahaha

It was quite a hot yet fine Saturday morning when my papa and I headed to do some grocery shopping. My mama wasn't feeling very well, so she chose to stay home with Arashi, our baby doggie.

We were riding a tricyle (basically a motorcycle with a sidecar) to the supermarket. It's around eight to ten minutes ride depending on the traffic. It was a bit congested because it's a Saturday and our city's festival is coming soon, so the streets are busier than usual.

Fresh buko, anyone?? There are several small coconut juice or milk stalls like this in our area. On such a hot day, drinking some coconut juice is perfect! Well, I just took this picture while waiting for the slight traffic jam to end. I would love to have some, though. Maybe after going to the supermarket, we can somehow quench our thirst with some buko or coconut juice. Let's get some groceries first!

I love Korean noodles!!! My newest favorite is this Beef Bulgogi fried noodle... but of course, buying Shin Ramyun and vegetable ramen is a must, too. My mama can't eat spicy food, though... but she likes the vegetable noodle and bulgogi ones. I usually just buy it in the nearby convenience store, but it's more expensive there. It's my chance to buy more at a cheaper price. haha

I know it's not November 11, yet... but I bought several boxes of Pocky and Pepero. I don't eat them in one sitting, but I love munching on them from time to time. I need my supply of glucose, so they will be my friends for the next few days. I also bought some chocolates for mama and papa. Having sweet tooth runs in the family. haha

Instant coffee these days sure offers a lot of options. I usually drink black coffee or sometimes black coffee with soy milk. However, I got curious about these babies. I already tried them, but they were too sweet for me, so I added more black coffee. lol My parents enjoyed them, though. Black coffee is still the best!

When we were done with our grocery shopping both for the house and the store, the weather totally changed. It had been raining. It's crazy how a perfectly fine day turned gloomy in just a couple hours. Anyway, that's my papa there waiting for a cab because our stuff won't fit in a tricycle anymore. There were several boxes because we had to restock our small store.

I couldn't buy coconut juice, but I bought this lemonade instead. I was too thirsty! We were on our way home this time... It was around 2PM and we haven't had lunch yet. I wasn't hungry, but awfully thirsty.

Home at last!!! I wanted to cook some bulgogi fried noodles, but mama already prepared some yummy lunch for us. So, I decided to just cook it for dinner instead.

Here's the Bulgogi fried noodles I cooked that night. I sliced the leftover pork from lunch into smaller and thinner pieces and added them to the noodle. It was delicious!!! I then got myself ready for one of my Skype classes that night... and so, my Saturday ended. I decided to stay home the whole day on Sunday because my introvert self's batteries ran out.

Surprisingly, I had to run some errands on Sunday morning, too. So much for, "I'll stay home the whole day on Sunday!" Well, I was only out for a few hours in the morning and I was able to lock myself in my room the whole afternoon. I didn't have any classes, so I binge-watched Mike Flanagan's new series on Netflix until nighttime. I'm recharged and ready to work again!!!!

It's already 2AM on Tuesday now... I finished the rest of the series a while ago during my break at work, so look forward for my review soon! I'll go to bed now... I hope I could talk more about my weekend again someday... but I'm likely to spend my usual weekends again for the next couple of weeks. xDD
