Among all the small goals I started this year, creating artwork was the most challenging... (well, there's hanging out with friends and/or going out more, which is quite impossible to do).
However, I've been working on this goal better than expected. I've been making artwork at least once or twice a week, and I'm feeling pleased about it.
It was my birthday a couple of days back. My mom initially gave me money to get myself a new shirt. I don't have a lot of shirts to wear whenever I go out since I work from home, but I couldn't find anything I like, so instead, I bought coffee and art materials. lol
When my father and I were grocery shopping, I was eyeing the "Nescafe Tradição Forte" coffee. I wanted to try it, but it was a bit pricy, and I actually still have some drip coffee and Nescafe Gold at home. But since I had some extra money (for the shirt), I bought it instead. haha
And as for the remaining stuff, I bought these...
It's been a while since I used poster paint, and this will be much better to use than my solid watercolor, so I'm excited to use it.
I've also been looking for fan brushes. I have one at home, which is part of a set of brushes I bought online many years ago. This brush is very useful, especially when I'm making some landscape paintings.
I also bought some masking tape because I'm running out of it. I also got a correction pen, but I won't be using it for corrections. haha It's helpful when it comes to adding highlights to my drawings because my white gel pens aren't very useful. lol
I actually painted something yesterday, but I'll talk about it and post about the process next time. However, I can show you a glimpse of it.
I made it while listening to some True Crime documentary on YouTube. haha Anyway, I'll end this post here. Thanks for reading, and see you around! (^^,)/
