I received some presents!
A close friend from high school came by today with her daughter. Actually, her daughter is my goddaughter. Most of my friends are close to my family, so they are welcome to come by anytime they want.
Aside from my bestie, @akielle, I also have a group of friends from high school who I'm really close to. We are a group of five and we have been friends since 2005. We're actually celebrating our 12th friendsary tomorrow... but we'll put it off at a later date because everyone's busy with life.. hihi (going back) I was a transferee that time (3rd year high school), so I was worried whether I could fit in or not, but these girls were so welcoming. Since then, they became my high school buddies. Now, two of them are married, two has long distance relationships with their boyfriends and then there's me.. lol
Anyway, one of them, gave me something today...
YES!!!! A bunch of art materials!!! ^^ Her husband's cousin loves drawing and painting, but now, he's no longer doing it. He still had a lot of art materials left at home and was giving it away. My friend knows that I love drawing and she has always been supportive of me. So, she gathered the unused art materials and brought them to me.
I'm super happy!!! I mean.. Art materials are pricey, but I'm getting them for free!!! OMG! I love my friends... ^^
Here's a bunch of acrylic paints... They're barely used!! Ahhh... T_T These made me really happy~!!!!
Some watercolors... Ahh~ I should get back to painting soon!!! ^^
Here's a charcoal set!!! OMG!!! I've always wanted to try sketching using charcoal... It's about time to learn how to do it~! ^^
Some Faber-Castell colored pencils... I wonder if my friend's cousin-in-law even used it... I think he hasn't touched them at all.
Here's a 2B Faber-Castell pencil and Zig Scroll and Brush marker!!! Ohh!!! it's for Calligraphy~!!! <3
And lastly, here are some paint brushes... A great addition to my collection! ^^
I feel so blessed for having generous and supportive friends! I will continue doing my best in honing my skills.
By the way, my goddaughter (friend's daughter) is also into arts. I can see a potential artist in her... So, I'll help her enjoy drawing more and more... ^^
Until here!
Thanks a lot for dropping by!
Love lots, @tegoshei
