I'm truly delighted to be among the winners of the previous challenge. I'll do my best to further improve my writing and provide more interesting stories in the future. I'm joining @freewritehouse's A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words this time, too.
Dear Diary,
It was a hot and nerve-racking day for me. It's my first attempt to enter the real world. Yes, my first ever job interview happened today.
I didn't know the real world was this harsh. Why didn't anyone inform me? It made me want to just go back to school, instead. Ironic, isn't it? Wasn't it I who wanted to become a full-pledged adult and enter the real world soon? (sigh)
I was so nervous on my way to the venue of the interview earlier. I saw and walked with my fellow aspirants on the street. Watching them somehow made me feel calm, though. I suppose when you see someone more nervous than you are, you tend to calm down.
Well, I'm quite confident when it comes to my capabilities. I know what I can and can't do, but still I'm willing to take on any challenge... well, except for one. I. HATE. WEARING. FORMAL. BUSINESS. ATTIRE!!
They are just too uncomfortable. I truly hope I won't need to wear them often once I get the job. Anyway, I'm tired. The interviewer did mention to expect an email within this week, so... fingers crossed!
This story is partly true. I just don't like wearing formal business clothes. I prefer comfortable outfit over anything. Good thing I work from home. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this diary entry as well. :)
