So 2020 brought us the "almighty" PS5 and everyone is talking about either buying one or upgrading from the PS4 Pro or lower series. It's no news that the PS5 was built to outperform it's predecessors but is it worth its price, $500?!! I'd like us to take a look at some of its features and also compare with its latest predecessor, the PS4 Pro.

Firstly, the PS5 aesthetics seems really cool as seen below and beats the regular rectangular shape of it's predecessors. It's curves make it look more appealing and many would instantly wanna lay their hands on it for this feature alone.

The PS5 has a Tempest 3D audio making it able to process up to a hundred sounds spontaneously. It's optics and visuals are made of 4K UHD Blu-Ray Drive and Native 4K 120Hz + 8k resolution respectively. Thus becoming the console with the best graphics and media in the market right now.

Talking about speed and processing, the PS5 is armoured with a Custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU, 16GB SDRAM and 825GB internal storage making it far better than the PS4 that produces heat and noises at some point. The PS5 had been confirmed to be quiet during operation and loads/ faster than the PS4.

Lastly, the price of the PS5 ranges around $500-$450 right now in 2020, just $100 more than the PS4 Pro released in 2013. So, I'd say it's worth every penny and definitely worth an upgrade. It's probably gonna take at least 4 years before the PS5 gets a successor, so I personally have plans to buy one soon hopefully when I get some $500 just lying around.

On that note friends, I think the PS5 is definitely worth every penny and not just a hype.
