Today, I remembered a chimpanzee I saw at my university's zoo some time ago and a particular gesture it made. It had both of its hands over its head after throwing a stone at one of my colleagues from its cage. It laughed and made the gesture which was funny but I wasn't so sure what it meant. If it was a happy or sad sign. But from a human point of view, it's regarded a sign of panic, loss and confusion. I saw a really good reference that portrayed the gesture today and created the drawing using the scribble technique on the autodesk sketchbook. I shared the process as well and I hope you love it.
