It's probably no news that almost everyone into crypto wants to retirement off crypto. I once heard a buddy talk about how he'd live on a beach for the rest of his life watching the sunrise and sunset which is a cool but sounds a lil bit boring to me. I'd probably die faster of boredom living like that.
We all have plans of stacking enough cryptos, assets and commodities enough to take care of ourselves when we no longer have the strength to work so hard for money and also because we don't want to be other people's responsibility. Hive and Leofinance have changed have redefined how I see myself retiring.
Firstly, both platforms have been created in a way that they help their users stack and save alot of assets with very tasty APRs not available with banks and other financial institutions. Users of Hive and Leofinance are opened to so many options that'll maximise their income and get them ready for decades ahead while granting financial security. Like there's basically no need to wanna stack many other cryptos for retirement if you're already an active user of Hive and Leofinance.
Secondly, I don't visualize myself having the kinda of retirement my friend wants. I'd prefer being active like visiting and impacting knowledge on the younger generation, passing on the skills I've learnt over the years and keeping myself in the company of active young minds. All these experiences could be documented on Hive and Leofinance hence not allowing me become a dormant member of my society and of Hive and Leo. Even when retired I could still make a couple bucks to sponsor many of these activities and that would make them more fulfilling.
I don't see myself getting to a point where I no longer have to use Hive and Leofinance, I mean they've redefined social media and blogging by allowing decentralisation and complete ownership of contents. I'll definitely be needing a social media platform when I retire so I don't die early of boredom, hence Hive and Leofinance. Retirement doesn't have to be boring and a dormant phase of our lives.
