Lately I’ve been eyeing a new Hive blockchain game to get deeper into.
RISING STAR!
What is Rising Star?
Rising Star is a music career game on the Hive blockchain. In Rising Star you’re trying to become the biggest Star in the world. To become the new world Star, you’ll accumulate new artists and support crew, plenty of cool instruments, cars and tour busses, and a lot of other NFT assets.
As a person who usually is quite swamped with a lot of non-online responsibilities, and what little time that’s left usually goes into creating Hive content and trying to build my Splinterlands account, Rising Star is the perfect game to add into the mix. Because it’s mainly passive, and that is fantastic.
You’ll start Rising Star missions that takes a set anoint off time to complete, and then you’ll earn rewards. Truly a great addition for my gaming routine.
My Plan To Reach Stardom
My plan for Rising Star is a bit different than my plan for Splinterlands. Usually when I get into something new, I go way to hard and way to fast, and invest a fair bit into that new thing.
My plan for Rising Star is to not invest anything other than time and effort. We’ll see how that goes.
I’ve earn a few thousand STARBITS on my own and win two giveaways, and thus accumulated a tiny starting capital of roughly 9000 STARBITS.
Using this capital I’ve bought a few cards. These cards were mostly bought due to “story” based reasons. At the moment I have very little idea of what I’m actually doing, but I’m doing a bit of research to be able to make smarter card investments.
Today I bought these cards.
A girl with a beat up old car and a decent guitar trying to break Nashville. Feels like a relatable story I can get behind.
They added +20 Fans and +10 Luck for a total of 8500 STARBITS. The i6 Mid Range Acoustic is quite cool looking but I got that mainly in preparation to unlock the Local Gig Circuit. I still need to progress quite a bit in the game first, though.
