The hours in the studio flew by as the band kept working; the arguments had ceased, leaving only the music. Michelle played the modified melody again, Lucas played the drums much more softly, and Tomás continued on guitar, while the band's fourth member kept the beat without rushing ahead. Everyone was focused, and the song progressed smoothly; for the first time, no one tried to outshine the others.

When they finished, the song sounded perfect—reminiscent of how they used to work. The director remarked, "This time, it didn't feel like we were fighting against the song." A silence fell over the room. "MADRID is the goal," he continued. "No one there is going to ask who played the best; the audience will simply listen to what you are capable of doing as a band." Michelle remained silent, gazing at the screen, when suddenly the producer's phone rang—a sound that felt incredibly nerve-wracking.

The call was to confirm the time the band was scheduled to play, the stage, and the logistics of the process. For a few seconds, silence reigned; Madrid was no longer just a word scrawled on a whiteboard—it was a commitment they had to honor. The band soon erupted in celebration at the great news, but the producer added, "You have exactly two hours to finish the song."

The excitement vanished from their faces, as two hours seemed impossible for the band; nevertheless, they returned to their positions. Just then, there was a knock at the door, and one of the festival organizers entered to say, "There’s been a change to the festival schedule: your performance won't be on the secondary stage anymore—it’s moving to the main stage." After the organizer left, everyone began talking at once, and the producer added, "Now it really is time to finish the song." They all looked at the whiteboard—at the word MADRID—knowing they had to work together as a team.
