Hi guys how are you all? I hope you are all doing well.
So guys today I am back with another new Splinterlands monster review. So letโs get started.
Today the monster I am going to talk about is ElectroFox.
ElectroFox is a unique Legendary Fire and Water monster that was introduced through the Electroneum x Splinterlands partnership. What makes this monster very interesting is its dual purpose. It can participate in battles and it also has a special function on Land.
If we talk about its basic details its rarity is Legendary and its elements are Fire and Water. Its mana cost is 5. It has 8 Health 5 Speed and 4 Melee Attack.
If we talk about its Bloodline it belongs to the Mundane Beast Bloodline.
Its low 5 mana cost gives it a big advantage. It can easily fit into different Fire teams without taking too much mana.
ElectroFox has five abilities.
The first ability is Opportunity.
This means ElectroFox attacks the enemy monster with the lowest Health regardless of its normal position. This makes it very useful for taking down weak support and damage dealing monsters.
The second ability is Electrified.
This means that starting from the beginning of Round 2 Electrified deals 1 damage to every allied unit including ElectroFox itself. This damage happens at the beginning of every round and it cannot be stopped by Shield Immunity or Reflection Shield. It also cannot be removed by Cleanse.
Because of this drawback ElectroFox works very well with teams that have healing or other ways to deal with repeated damage.
The third ability is Inspire.
This means that friendly units with Melee Attack gain 1 additional Melee Attack. This makes ElectroFox a very useful support monster especially in Fire lineups that are built around Melee attackers.
The fourth ability is Amplify.
Amplify increases the damage dealt by abilities such as Retaliate Corrosive Ward Magic Reflect Return Fire and Thorns by 1 for friendly units.
This gives ElectroFox a strong support role instead of making it just another damage dealer.
The fifth and final ability is Painforge.
This ability allows ElectroFox to increase its Power when it takes damage from effects such as Poison or Burning or when it is hit by an ally.
Now letโs talk about the interesting part and that is its Land Utility.
This is where ElectroFox becomes very unusual.
When it is placed as a Land Worker its Static Charge ability allows it to generate Electroneum Voltage Points or EVP.
The amount of EVP it generates depends on the card level.
At Level 1 it produces 5 EVP per hour.
At Level 2 it produces 15 EVP per hour.
At Level 3 it produces 30 EVP per hour.
And at Level 4 it produces 60 EVP per hour.
So ElectroFox is not just a normal Fire monster.
In battles its Opportunity and Amplify combination makes it useful for attacking weak enemies and strengthening retaliation style abilities.
At the same time its Land Utility gives it another purpose outside normal battles.
Its biggest weakness is Electrified because your entire team loses 1 Health at the beginning of every round starting from Round 2.
This means your team composition is very important when using ElectroFox. Healing can be especially valuable because units can be healed after taking Electrified damage.
In my opinion ElectroFox is a very good monster.
If I had to rate it out of 10 I would give it a 9 out of 10.
It is a versatile 5 mana Legendary monster with a very unusual dual purpose design.
Its low mana cost makes it easy to include in many battles while Opportunity gives it immediate offensive value.
Amplify also makes it very interesting for teams built around Thorns Return Fire Magic Reflect Retaliate and other similar abilities.
So guys that was my review of ElectroFox.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful.
I will see you in the next post.
Until then take care and goodbye!
