Whilst the latest candle is yet to confirm the breakout, all signs suggest that it will. Price has been forming a declining wedge off the June highs with bullish RSI divergence that has been building since the August swing low. Yesterday's move and today's, have been accompanied by a significant pick-up in volume, something that is always nice to see on a breakout.
Wedge breakouts tend to be swift moves and typically target the beginning of the formation, in this case the June high of ~1200. However, there is a zone of resistance around 830-900 level which also coincides with the 61.8% retrace of the wedge high to low. Expect price to stall, initially at least, around that area.
Should the breakout reverse and fail, next support is ~300.
Given some positive moves in some of the alt's recently, this has the potential to be a lead for Bitcoin and crypto's in general. However, Bitcoin has some work to do yet to confirm its own breakout. See here for my take on BTC.
