Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!
Hmmm, Today!
Well the least I can say about today is that it is a very special day for me indeed! Or well yesterday and today are both one and the same, in some way.
It's as simple as that! All my birthdays are during this week! Laughs what I mean by that is that yesterday was my birthday, like my real life birthday and I turned 28 years of age yesterday. It feels unreal in so many ways and I don't even want to get started on that topic! What I usually tell people is that when I meet some new person or something along those lines and they tell me that they are 21 years old, the first thing that comes up in my head is that we are of the same people, meaning we are of the same age. Sort of like "We can be friends" type of thing but then I realize that I am almost thirty frikkin years old!
That in it self is scary!
The other birthday I have would be my Hive birthday! I have officially been on the Hive blockchain for a staggeringly good six years! I don't have a lot to show for it because I was absent the first four and a half years! But rather late than never show up to the party in the first place right!
So there's that too! Happy Happy 6th Hive birthday to me!
One thing that I've realized over the years is that the older you grow the less people think of buying you presents!
Laughs it's a sad story actually if you think about it! I only got presents from all the ladies in my life and no not lover ladies. The most I got from The Betty and then from The Mums and also The Sister. I'm not even joking when I said only the ladies in my life but with that said I'm not the biggest fan of celebrating the birthday. It just feels like another day gone by, a day with gifts!
Anyways! I might not be getting a whole ton of presents anymore but at-least what I get I can make use of or eat.
I got a thermal heat flask or one of those fancy flasks that keeps the coffee warm for weeks and the beer cold for months! Yeah! One of those! Then The Betty also got me a night light booklight, now that alone would have sealed the deal for me, I'd have been more than happy with just that because it was something I really wanted. (So now I can read book in the middle of the night!) Along with that she got me a laptop stand as well (It's not visible because the Hot-Wheels are packed on top of it.) which again was something that i deeply wanted but never got. So far she is three for three! To top her gifts off she got me four pretty darn cool Hot-Wheels that I can add to my collection! (I should keep you updated on that it has been ages since my last Hot-Wheels post.)
She also bought me this keychain for me, and two of my favourite chocolates! And I think she has a book in the bundle as well that may not have arrived yet! I'll keep you updated on that as well! The coolest thing about all of this was by far the packaging in which she gave it to me. She loves the packaging but that's not why I love it!
See I've always wanted a super motard motorcycle but it has to have a custom made collage sticker kit and that paper bag is everything that I need and want and more!
I certainly have the best friend I could have asked for!
I don't even have to do much, I can just hand this over to The Sister and she'll make it go onto the computer. 馃槀
I think it'll look pretty damn balling when added as a custom paint to a motorcycle.
I saw this on my way to work and I just had to try and get a quick snap of it at the very least, I would have stopped if I had the time to do so but I was running late as it was!
That's one thing about life that just goes out above my level of thinking, why are we always so rushed? Do we rush to have more of this rush? We wake up almost always "late" for everything during our lives and just fall in with the rush and then we keep up that rush until five in the afternoon just to go home dead and tired for?
It's a shame we all have to keep running in this system!
One day is one day and we will have a chance at escaping it, but will you jump for it if you had to?
