If you've been a Steemian for a while, you probably have learned about how the system works. I'm talking about knowing what type of content people like to read, how to interact with people both on Steemit and outside of Steemit and how to automate things that you would otherwise have to do manually.
Getting votes can be quite difficult but if you can make a few friends you can get support. Except these people that are willing to support you don't have a lot of time. They want to vote you but they don't have all day to sit in front of their feed waiting to see your new post pop up.
This is where Steemvoter comes in! See, before Steemvoter people had to organize when they would post more and actually work with their friends and supporters a bit more because every vote that came in was a manual one.
Steemvoter has automated the voting process to the point that you simply need to make an account, set up rules and then it is off to the races! You can set up who you want to vote and for what percentage voting strength you'd like to vote their post for.
But last week, the service hit a few hiccups. Scalability is always the issue holding large growing services back and Steemvoter hit a road block in terms of growth which required the people behind it to upgrade their tech to a larger enterprise solution.
Many were shocked to see that they weren't receiving the votes they were accustomed to getting. It proved that Steemvoter is a part of the overall Steem ecosystem and without it people suffer. The Steemvoter withdrawl was real and I'm happy to say that things are back online today humming away.
The wonderful autovotes we so love have returned. In no way does this mean we can't still continue to manually curate! In fact we should do both to make the ecosystem a better place for quality content.
Do you guys use Steemvoter? How much do you use it and how important is the service to your experience on Steem / Steemit?
Thanks for reading @techblogger!
