ShoutBox is a global open source Chat zone that is implemented on android and web platforms. The primary aim is to connect people globally under one platform where they cant connect easily.
Proposal
ShoutBox is an open source project that enable users to communicate globally I would like to suggest adding "settings"/"data usage /storage" feature to the ShoutBox app, so I can mark important information in the conversation and files shared conversations would be safe.

Therefore my suggestion would be applied here
That's the addition of the settings tab
And here the addition of the data usage and storage tab under the seetings tab.
Benefits
There would be a backup of the chats,and other valuable files
The settings tab would create room to the creation of new features
Data usage would be monitored
And there would be better changes in the app interface.
