It’s never ever a dull moment on the steem blockchain, imagine that you’ve just been on a two week holiday away from everything steem and came back to this. Like literally tron buying steemit, all the top twenty witnesses getting voted out, news about hackers doing it, people resigning from the steemit team, etc etc — it’s like the worst school disco night ever, every day.
I just wanted to throw a few words together pre-coffee as I spent six hours in discord like the nosey bastard I am to see what was going down — it was really interesting to hear peoples opinions and to see where things are today, I think this actually could now be a major win for steem in the short term but I’m just not sure where this leaves the platform in the long term.
But hey, we never had that anyway, so basically everything is getting back to how it was before. If there is one thing to be excited about it’s the ability for steem to regenerate, it’s like doctor who ultimate edition! Maybe now, with different paths forward steem can finally flex it’s muscles and move past all this teething troubles and be the platform they always thought it could be.
I mean, is there literally anything more serious than just what happened and yet we are still fighting? It’s pretty impressive if you ask me. The battle lines have been drawn, will this cause pullback and reclusion or will a happy medium be found or will it just be a serious of middle aged men with daddy issues putting poorly designed flags in the sand?
Dunno, but fuck it’s better than television — someone make the movie already, it’s got an epic storyline.
Peace and Love,
