Saying no is very important in our life but we are very hesitant to say it and this hesitation makes us do many things we really don't like to do. It is very simple yet very hard to learn and implement in our life. It sounds easy but it is very hard when we need to implement it, learning to say no doesn't mean saying no in everything but it is to choose weather you like to do something to yourself not to move with others decision!
From eating in a restaurant you don't like to smoking even if don't like to choosing a subject as their carrier just because they can't say no, it is a problem. If you want to run your own business or get a good job, saying No in things you don't like is a must.
We all have this habit and we can surely change it. If we want to change any habit then we must start slowly. It is like any other bad habit and we must get rid of it as soon as possible. Make sure to think properly before taking a decision, say no to small things.
How I am doing?
Said no to a girl asking to do me homework!
I don't know why and how a girl asked me to do her homework to me. She was almost begging but I managed to say, "do your homework yourself, it's your work not mine!" and refused to do homework. I can say no online little easier than in real life.Said no to a bus conductor!
A bus conductor of a bus which was pulling me to his bus even though his bus would reach destination 15 minute late. I remembered I was learning to say no and I refused to go in his bus and went in other bus. I would have easily gone in his bus because he was pulling me.Said no to late night party!
My new collage friends were almost forcing me to go to late night party and I need to return home because the next day was a ceremony in my village. It was hard to refuse that but finally I said no.
I hope to improve slowly and be able to say yes/no only after thinking. Everyone think they are pro in this but most of them are wrong, if we concentrate we will know we are not perfect in this and it is surely a thing to give a look at!
Thank you so much @pankso for all the support in whaleshares for me and all inspiration you give!
